School Direct Bursaries and Scholarships :
This year the Institute of Physicswill be awarding 150 scholarships with £30,000 tax-free funding and academic support for prospective physics teachers training to teach in England in the 2017/18 academic year.
The Institute of Mathematics is offering a Scholarship Programme for Teacher Training. For 2017/18 the bursary is £27,500 tax free in your training year.
The Royal Society of Chemistry Teacher Training Scholarship scheme is run in partnership with the Department for Education. Scholarships will be available for individuals who wish to train to teach in the 2017/18 academic year.

The British Academy of Computing offers Teacher Training Scholarships worth £27,500 (tax-free) with the funding supplied by the Department for Education, paid in instalments over the year whilst engaged in an initial teacher training (ITT) course leading to initial qualified teacher status (QTS) at secondary level.
