The STSA has a number of specialist in schools around the local area and beyond, although not externally accredited, these specialist staff have a proven track record in their field of excellence and in supporting other schools.

 

Name: Simon Finlan

STSA Role: SLE Co-ordinator

Simon is currently an Assistant Headteacher at The Abbey School in Faversham. His  role within the STSA involves aspects such as the designation, deployment and training of our SLEs. Name: Claire Forster

STSA Role: NQT Co-ordinator

Claire is currently the NQT co-ordinator for the Swale Teaching School Alliance and is working with many NQT's via weekly training sessions and day training course on all asscociated elements of the NQT year, she has a particular drive to support NQT's in improving their classroom practice at all levels and uses ICT very efecivly to support through online training as well as face to face sessions.

Claire, is currently working on the associated support documentation for the STSA's accredited body role with British Schools Overseas.

 

Name: Stewart Bendon

Stewart has previous experience of all elements of network support and development in schools across Kent, having been involved in small scale support work to large scale complete school neworking tasks. Stewart has an indepth understanding of ICT networks that allow students to access the facilities that they need in order to allow learning to take place and for ICT to enhance pupil progression.
